INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Ice will host their 2010 Main Camp this Friday through Sunday at The Forum at Fishers.

Charlie Skjodt is back behind the Ice bench as he and his staff will look to assemble another talented group of players in hopes of winning their second Clark Cup Championship in three years.

Leading the group of returnees at camp will be goaltender Casey DeSmith and defenseman Nick Mattson. DeSmith is coming off a sizzling playoff campaign in which he went 4-3 with a 2.48 GAA and a .922 save percentage. Mattson was a 2010 East Division All-Star and recorded 19 points (5G, 14A) in 51 games back at the blue line.

In addition to a talented core from last year, many of the team’s top draft picks will be in attendance at camp including defenseman Sam Rendle, who is coming off a championship season with the Bismarck Bobcats of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).

Ice fans are welcome to attend all drills, scrimmages and games throughout the weekend at the Forum at Fishers located at 9022 E. 126th St. The finale of the camp will be the All-Star Game which will be held at 10:30 am on Sunday.

The Indiana Ice is a member of the United States Hockey League, America’s only Tier One league.
